Where to enter the activation code

To activate Windows 11 Pro, you must first access your computer's settings. If the system continues to show an error, you can use the troubleshooting tool integrated into the same activation page. This tool analyzes the system and tries to correct the error on its own.

How telephone activation works

If activation via the internet continues to show errors, you can start the telephone activation procedure. This option is offered directly by the operating system when standard activation fails. A wizard will appear on the screen showing you a list of phone numbers to call.

During the phone call, an automated voice will ask you to type a long numerical code, called the Installation ID, which you see displayed on your computer screen, on your phone's keypad. After verifying this code, the automated voice will dictate a second code to you, called the Confirmation ID.

Enter this second code in the empty fields that appear on the computer screen and click the confirmation button. This procedure allows you to unlock the license and complete the activation of the operating system even without an active internet connection.

Another common error signals that the code is already in use on another device. This means that the license has exceeded the limit of allowed installations. If you have just purchased the license, it could be a transcription error of the code.

Finally, some errors simply indicate the inability to reach the activation servers. These problems are almost always temporary and are resolved by waiting a few hours before trying to enter the code again.
