Microsoft DCU disrupts operations of the EvilTokens platform
The Microsoft Digital Crimes Unit has collaborated with several partners to target and disrupt the infrastructure of the EvilTokens phishing platform.
EvilTokens has rapidly become one of the leading Phishing-as-a-Service (PhaaS) platforms on the global landscape. This service allows device code-based phishing attacks to be conducted, leveraging AI-assisted lures, automated infrastructure, and token theft.
To counter this threat, the Microsoft Digital Crimes Unit (DCU) initiated a joint operation. Thanks to strategic collaboration with its partners, the Microsoft unit facilitated the disruption of operations and the entire infrastructure linked to EvilTokens, dealing a heavy blow to the platform's illicit activities.
