Microsoft DCU disrupts operations of the EvilTokens platform
The Microsoft Digital Crimes Unit, in collaboration with some partners, has disrupted the infrastructure and operations of the EvilTokens platform.
EvilTokens quickly became one of the leading Phishing-as-a-Service (PhaaS) platforms. This service allows the launching of device code-based phishing attacks, leveraging AI-assisted lures, automated infrastructure, and token theft.
To counter this threat, the Microsoft Digital Crimes Unit (DCU) actively collaborated with several partners. Thanks to this synergy, it was possible to facilitate the disruption of the infrastructure and overall operations linked to EvilTokens.
